  4. You can find old black and white videos on YT with cars like these racing during the 60's and 70's on the popular Warwick Farm circuit and also the Oran Park circuit in western Sydney. Look for one featuring Ian "Pete" Geoghegan, Allan Moffatt, Norman Beechey, a cheeky Morris Cooper S (Foley or Manton) and Jim MacKeown in his Lotus Cortina. Many other tracks were used in various States that are non operational now mostly due to suburbia expanding. For the tin tops there were categories called Series Production (basically showroom), Improved Production (limited modifications) and the wild Sports Sedans where basically anything goes and we see cars like an Alfa with a large Chev v8. Peter Brock's first Austin A30 with the 179CI Holden donc fell into the latter class. We saw many great vehicles that could not qualify for the Bathurst race race in these categories.
