  1. I wouldn't think that one would get a very good cross representation of opinions by walking up and down the main street of Surfers Paradise or similar. Lots of tourists these days want to experience the areas away from the coastal cities. Get out there and see the beautiful country beyond. I found a vast difference on an extended trip of the US a long time ago. A big difference between the city folk and the country people.
