  2. There's lot of Ibis to be found at the moment. After the rains many sporting fields and parks have turned into swamplands, the Ibis have moved in knowing there's lots of food to be had.

  3. Notice that the film is marked NFSA which is from the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra. A government institution where many historical film and tapes etc. are stored. Re the Bower Birds. There is a nest on the bank of a creek at the dog park I frequent. The nest is almost completely lined with with the blue caps from plastic milk bottles.
