  1.  @Danger_Mouse_00  It was inevitable that OP would shut down, the exact same happened at Warwick Farm years earlier and also at tracks like Amaroo and Catalina Park. A developers started expanding suburbia many facilities were bulldozed. Governments were concerned with noise.

  2. Many memories of seeing these when I was a regular at Oran Park after Warwick Farm closed. Some of the big mothers used to pump out so much crap it was worse than the steam locos on my old school train. That would have been around 1980. They were very popular on English tracks and in Europe as well as the US. Always remember Brocky in his A30 / 179 screaming around OP (but not against the trucks). Great cars and times.
