  2. Handball is an official Olympic sport and has been Medal sport since 1936. It is played on a volleyballl sized court indoors but with goals at each end, much like soccer with 11 per team.

  3. Reminds me of hopscotch with all those squares. What a great old fitness activity that is too. Have seen the above played at schools and in carparks. Can be very active and fun for kids. There are two other games called handball tht I know of. The variant played at the Olympics is Euro based with 11 per team and ball advanced and thrown at net / goal. Not unlike football / soccer but hands only. There is also the really old variant some call Gaelic handball which came from Ireland around 1500's. Played with bare hand on a squash type court (squash might not be popular in US but Racketball is and is played on a Squash court). Shorted handle racket and bouncier ball used.
