  1. Australia's love for the big open Round Australia Rallies was stamped back in the late 40's and 50's with the famous Redex Trials. Numerous characters were developed, none better known that the famed "Gelegnite" Jack Murray, who drove more makes than you'd find in a car sales lot, Fords, Caddies, Pugs...you name it One of our great motoring characters who got his nickname from throwing sticks of "gelly" from his car.

  2. Well done...great to see somebody else appreciating the skillful driver that Bondy used to be. Not fully recognised for what he did. Not a Ford person BUT that staged 1-2 finish at 1977 Bathurst made the front pages of many papers.
