  1. So good to see thinking young people coming up with adapted concepts such as this even though the principle has been around for a long time. I am aware of far too many fuddy duddies in my older age bracket who are so set in their ways they don't want to know about this In Oz we are building the Snowy 2 addition for Hydro power and it uses pumped restored water for power. Also aware of trials in UK where heavy walking areas are fitted with tiles that generate energy when walked on...promising stuff. Also the freeway small wind turbines that generate energy as fast moving cars travel by.. We have to remember we used to use nothing but wind and water energy at one time before we had power stations.

  2. The concept works all right. Think of those long gone lifts in multi storey buildings in the past which worked on counterweights. This is basically the same except that energy available is being stored.

  3. Mister Twiggy has big plans for commercial level generation of Hydrogen by electrolysis and not only in WA. So good luck to him on that one but it is a terrribly energy intensive operation.
