  1. Yes. Social media makes no distinction between informed opinions and hot takes from morons. They are both given the same weight. To the point that I know there is someone out there who’s going to read this and point and laugh at me saying I just swallow whatever the mainstream media wants me to believe. And to that person I say you should probably read some Susan Sontag, because every presentation of media, even taking a vacation photo for yourself, comes with an agenda. You are not immune. And there’s always a chance that your “unique” take doesn’t mean you’re rejecting a big lie for a big truth, but that your basis for that belief is uninformed garbage.
