  1. The vanilla ones probably taste artificial because they are. Vanillin, the main component of vanilla extract, is artificially synthesized for fake vanilla extract as it’s way cheaper. It also doesn’t taste like the real thing if you’ve had it.

  2.  @gaborbakos7058  I agree, it’s not bad at all! But it does taste…weird. Cool fact, one major source is as a byproduct of wood pulp processing. It can be pulled out by digestion of wood lignin, which is an unwanted side product of wood cellulose extraction.
