Man that courtroom artist did NOT hold back lol
739
This could be the basis for an entire YouTube channel and I would pay money to watch it.
574
@RARufus like prosecuting an obvious criminal? That kind of ambition?
113
@alestorprime7962 Dude that was happening 2 years ago. Talking about it like it's still going on every day is fuckin weird.
50
@BallisticTech the white-listing argument makes a lot of sense. YouTube makes the most money off of creators with large audiences, so they’re going to get bespoke, light handed review. Everyone else gets a robot than demonitizes your video if it thinks it hears the word “Hitler”.
45
@fisharepeopletoo9653 did you just nerdsplain DnD stats as part of your analogy? 😆 no wonder you think Musk is a genius.
35
@danielquintieri that’s how a bench trial works, Einstein.
27
@GalironRunner what’s it like to be fluent in zero languages?
17
@IndexInvestingWithCole really? Is the only issue with spending time in prison that you might die there?
16
@Zomp420 why should he respond to a bald assertion with no actionable charges? The most these guys got is chanting HuNtEr BidEn LaPtOp while drooling all over their keyboard.
16
@rickytomlin2393 the narc was some boomer customer, not an employee.
15
@IndexInvestingWithCole fines serve multiple purposes. Some are restorative (pay to fix what you did) and some are punitive (don’t do this again and show other people not to do it). We’re only talking about the latter, but you’re equivocating about the former.
14
@authenticallysuperficial9874 except it’s not. During debate of the 14th amendment this exact issue got brought up and the author of the amendment confirmed it included the President. So stop.
11
Corporations literally consider any fine as a cost of doing business so long as it doesn’t affect their credit, structure, or stock price.
11
@jalabi99 in addition to what others said (it takes goddamn forever to clean), they’re error prone and only give cryptic codes that require the contractor to come in and fix ($$$). Some codes (like the dairy reservoir temperature sensor going out of spec high) will shut down the machine and require you to completely clean and sanitize it. So a lot of stores just tell you it’s broken because it’s a massive pain in the dick for the workers and a massive pain in the wallet for the franchise owner.
10
Probably a lie considering it’s entirely not clear he can even read, much less write.
10
Really missed a gem at 8:50 “The Debtors did not have the type of disbursement controls that I believe are appropriate for a business enterprise. For example, employees of the FTX Group submitted payment requests through an online “chat” platform where a disparate group of supervisors approved disbursements by responding with personalized emojis.”
10
@jaxsterminator8634 leaving this comment on a 20 minute video documenting exactly what he did wrong is peak Trump-brain.
9
I’m reminded of my favorite retort to accusations of rudeness: “I’m not insulting you, I’m describing you.”
7
@xvi1128 you’re a bit late to save this one mate.
7
They will only care when it affects them personally.
6
@highgradeOG right because court artists draw the photos you’ve seen 😆
6
I view it more as an appetizer for what’s coming in January.
5
It’s truly amazing how far a stupid person can get when just trying to survive is removed as a barrier.
5
@erin9868 I think you’d be hard pressed to prove that “looking like a package worth stealing” is some kind of justification that he’s baiting thieves any more than a package its owners prefer not be stolen is baiting thieves. It’s designed to look like a box. I’ve had expensive packages delivered to my front door that clearly indicate “THIS IS A SAMSUNG TV”. If I open the door and kick a thief in the face who’s trying to steal it, was I baiting him?
4
How could you pass up ONION WARS though
4
@fiorella1021 literally all you have to say is one thing President Biden did that invites prosecution. One thing. “HuNtEr LaPtOp” is not a thing the President did.
4
That is not a basis for carte blanche defense of private property, as LE laid out in this video regarding Katko v Briney. The defense of Mark’s actions lies in the fact they are not assault and battery, not that you can arbitrarily defend private property against trespass.
3
He’s arguably in prison right now. I’d shoot myself if I had to live in that corpulent mass.
3
You studied for law school on an entertainment YouTube channel? 😆 you belong on this tier list.
3
@Joshua_Hale this would make sense until you look at Ken Paxton’s comedic impeachment and acquittal in Texas despite it being obscenely obvious he broke the law.
3
@reelbuzzedtakes1365 if there's a case to be made that Cannon either didn't consider the guidelines or allowed her conflict of interest to influence sentencing, the prosecution can appeal for an abuse of discretion to invalidate the sentence.
3
@HowToChangeName it will when he’s dead. Which doesn’t seem that far off tbh. He’s going downhill fast.
3
@jaelwyn 💯
2
These anti-Disney laws are straight up “bills of attainder”, aren’t they?
2
It doesn’t feel like that. It IS that.
2
Definitely hire a guy named Pecker to cover up your sex scandals.
2
@cocoa_alpaca yes, I’m in charge of antifa and the Internet. You finally got me.
2
I’ve seen more sophisticated discussion of transactional diplomacy than this on a fourth grade playground.
2
Convince me there is a stupider person on this planet than the guy at 26:04.
1
“The once and future President” is very much saying the quiet part out loud.
1
I feel like the most likely outcome of this case review will be SCOTUS just remanding back to the states and letting them individually fight it out. Which is both stupid and dangerous. But I can’t see the Roberts Court willingly and personally putting themselves in the path of Trump’s zealot army. For the most part, they are just cowards.
1
JFC, at this point Alex Jones seems like he’s one double spaced legal document away from being found in a Motel6 bathroom with a pistol in his mouth.
1
@spokenrebuttal569 what are you smoking? Georgia’s justice department picked up the case because Georgia has standing: it was THEIR election results that were being directly attacked by the Trump campaign.
1
@tylerselzer8411 he made a billion dollars because his dad loaned him a shit ton of money. If you time average Donald Trump’s wealth over time, he performs worse than the S&P500. He literally could have put his money in an index fund and sat on his ass. He’s absolute shit at business.
1
@alo679 because legally, this is not one of those circumstances. Legally, you can't drop $100 on someone's front porch and then claim you own their house. Terms matter.
1
Based on this information, I’m more inclined to think Halicki’s final words were “JFC finally.”
1
@Random-Things literally a 20 minute video highlighting what he did wrong. Extract your head from your ass before you suffocate. Or actually, don’t; one less idiot cancelling out reasonable people’s votes.
1
@Random-Things right, so every witness in this committee perjured themselves. Including Republicans and people in his own cabinet. Y’all want to think you’re being persecuted so bad. It’s pathetic.
1
Why find better candidates when the shitty ones they keep putting up fearmonger just as well?
