@jalabi99 in addition to what others said (it takes goddamn forever to clean), they’re error prone and only give cryptic codes that require the contractor to come in and fix ($$$). Some codes (like the dairy reservoir temperature sensor going out of spec high) will shut down the machine and require you to completely clean and sanitize it. So a lot of stores just tell you it’s broken because it’s a massive pain in the dick for the workers and a massive pain in the wallet for the franchise owner.

And besides, only like 5% of customers found rat shit in their burger, so what’s the big deal?” I think Mr. Beast is an opportunistic prick, but if there’s a reasonable criticism of his lawsuit, “the food should not be gross AF” isn’t something they can just blow off. “Commercially reasonable efforts to comply with carriage of service” are an implicit part of any contract.
