  4. I appreciate how apolitical Iain keeps his commentary, even in situations like this. It’s given me an opportunity to become educated on how firearms work, what their history is, and how they are used. I am politically center left and even I agree this makes absolutely no sense.

  5. Thank you for this channel Ian and happy new year! I have been watching your channel since early 2019, and right away I found myself appreciating how politically neutral you keep things. Your technical breakdown of firearm operation and considerations is unsurpassed. I consider myself politically center left and have a complicated relationship with firearms, but you never fail to make this topic fascinating. Becoming more familiar with firearms through your channel has normalized my thoughts on guns, and I’m going to get my concealed-carry permit tomorrow. Your approach has and can have a moderating influence on the public perception of guns in that- despite what I consider legitimate concerns- “what is better understood is less feared.” Thank you for the education, and I look forward to learning from your expertise in 2021.
