Parts of the U.K. are not functioning correctly, and this is an area to work on, I don't think Poland is a better place than the U.K., it's a better place than it was, but then a lot of E.U. money was spent there to achieve that, the money might not be readily available in the future and both Poland and Hungary seem to have clashing views with the E.U. that seem incompatible at present, although this has abated in Poland to a certain extent with the advent of the war, but exacerbated in Hungary. Ireland is doing so well for itself that the ordinary folk don't seem to be able to live there anymore, Germany has bigger problems than the U.K. and this will take a while to seep through to the E.U., spoiler alert - the banker is gone!?!

Let's have a little think about the biggest drag on the U.K. economy since WW2, oh it was the crashing of our energy market by the luminaries of the E.U. (Germany and Italy mainly) by being dependent on Russian energy, and having their energy cut off because they never danced to Putin's tune (Although they very nearly did). It is forecast that the U.K. is going to be the biggest economy in Europe by 2030 and Germany has far bigger problems than us in both energy and defence costs which will reverberate across the E.U.!?!

@csharpe5787 The people who voted for BREXIT voted for their own reasons, and we don't have to justify them similar to the people who voted to stay in a protectionist and failed system, this same system which is punishing everybody in the UK at present because we don't have independence in energy and the EU countries by being dependent on Russian energy has crashed our market at a time when we are transitioning to renewable energy, so don't blame us for our views, blame the remoaners for not voting, the EU for failing and dismissing our legitimate concerns, and yourself for not getting over it and moving on!?!

Hogwash!?! The E.U. members crashed the energy market by being reliant on Russian Energy, the biggest debacle since WW2, Germany has bigger problems than the U.K. with Energy which it had price cheap but morally expensive from Russia until Russia cut them off, and for which they now have to pay a premium (U.K. will generate most of its electricity by renewables by 2030-2035), an increase (Double the amount for a number of years) in its defence budget which it had on the cheap for decades, and an older workers demographic problem and a further reliance on China for car exports and imports of car components, this will alter the shape of the E.U. budget for decades, but I'm sure France won't mind paying in more!?!
