The Russians are unlikely to prosecute another war (Unless it's Civil), so major changes will have to be made, it's current military has been exposed in the cruel light of modern warfare, it is not the only one with nuclear weapons it's options are severely limited it is unclear where it is going to go but it is not upwards, it's either a disaster or a catastrophe!?!

  2. Russia couldn't accept its place in the West and tried but failed to agitate their position. Putin by aligning to the East will have a lower place, they want Russia's energy ( .....and land but due to its nuclear threat they will not move against them short term) but won't share their power or be dependant on Russia. Siberia will become the focus of energy transfers which might lead to a pivot away from Moscow and St. Petersburg as the Energy supply to the West will be reduced for decades. I wonder how long Putin will put up with the "New Order"!?!
