Inflation is in part due to the supply problem following COVID and the lockdowns in China, the war has made things worse, the West has more milder inflation (Although higher than what has become the normal) than the extremes of Russia and especially Turkey, China seems to be riding inflationary pressures at present but that might be because they are printing money and using debt, things will settle down after the war has ended or ends up in a stalemate, Russia's problems will just get worse from then, maybe China's as well, they are shipping a lot of debt at present and the property market is perilously close to default!

It's happening but it's not a game changer for Russia, it's not going to change E.U. policy as the majority do not support Russia's actions, the pipeline is gone, they must focus on alternatives, rather than protest about something that has already been lost!

Things sometimes gets ugly, it's a democracy, but we mostly do the right things and that is not helping Russia!

@johndonson1603 Russian illegally annexed Ukraine territory and put illegal separatist regions there (Both sides had tit for that battles over the intervening years), have they got to ask them politely for it back? Would any other country accept this?, then they tried to illegally invade it, then they illegally annexed more territories, barbarically creating human rights violations of the worst order in doing so, Russia is the bad guy here, it has ripped up all its agreements for peace, blackmailed Europe's energy supplies, lies and cheats about everything and needs to get out completely!
