@arijao92 Haha Putin propaganda, the price of gas has increased due to the unexpected disconnection of most of the gas by Russia to the continent of Europe, this has caused a scramble for gas this winter for obvious reasons, by next Winter and beyond gas prices will reduce to normal levels as alternative gas supply contracts will be in place by different countries other than Russia, this will cost more (Maybe 5 to 10% which is manageable) but not as much as this Winter period. In the near future renewables (Presently cheaper than carbon with a prospect of further savings)will be to the fore for electricity production in Europe (By 2030-2035) and Europe will be less reliant on a hostile carbon energy market, so no long term worries, but Russia however has lost its biggest and closest customer for decades!?!

@arijao92 That's only a temporary blip due to the unexpected scramble for energy, as new long term contracts are struck by Europe with other gas suppliers the price of gas will reduce to 5 to 10% of the pre war price and Europe is changing to renewables to offset carbon energy by 2030-2035 so no worries, If Russia is doing well (Hahaha), we are doing fantastic, because we are not stupidly invading another country!?!

@arijao92 Europe will always be under cost pressure by a reliance on Carbon energy, as we do not have enough of it available naturally for ourselves, Europe is however going to be the first continent to be powered by renewables which will enable it to be far more competitive in the future. Any European company which goes to China will have their technology copied and pasted by Chinese firms in short measure, that's the way they operate and most companies are moving away from China as they are losing their competitive edge as well!?!

@brigitte2217 Hopefully, the politicians had to have their arms twisted but Russia forced their hand so Ukraine, along with the Wider West in support can get a result in 2024!?!

@youareliedtobythemedia Renewables is the way to go for Europe (Wind especially, solar is a bit of a non starter), but unfortunately it has to be backed up by Nuclear base load or carbon (20 to 25% capacity) as renewables are a tad inconsistent and energy storage needs a 3,000 to 4,000% increase to today's capacity to become viable, there are no alternatives at present, tidal would be the preferred option as it is consistent but not enough has been carried out to develop same!?!
