Well buyers would have protection in the West on mortgages, but the value of property can go up or down, along with mortgage payments, but generally once you buy the property and keep up the payments, the property will be yours, you would have thought a communist regime would have protection for its citizens especially for housing, but a lot of the domestic property market was used for speculation and not housing for people to live in, so it's a bit of a quagmire on how the CCP will react!?!
