I think it's more to do with the Ukrainian Army doing it's business and not being overrun in three days, Zelenskyy has out maneuvered Putin in the "controlling the narrative department", and Russia's barbaric invasion does not garner much support or sympathy, unless your Iranian or North Korean!?!

@pocolol8424 Russia is being deindustrialised by the sanctions, that is why it is importing drones and missiles from Iran. Europe as a whole has a good industrial base and can easily scale up to war level production if needed, it has done it previously in two world wars, and also with help from its wider western allies, Europe has some problems and will go into a minor recession, but Russia has major problems and will go into a major recession for decades!?!

I don't think Boris Johnson would be able to direct Zelenskyy to withdraw from the peace deal. Ukraine is not going to win the war soon, but if things go the way that they are at present, they will win the war in Autumn of 2023. As Ukrainian civilians including children are being routinely murdered by the illegal barbaric Russian invasion their only option is to force Russia out, nothing to do with anybody else, it's Putin's fault!?!(Note - Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44 billion so anything he's got to say on something that he definitely knows nothing about is to be treated with incredulity!?!)

@annebritraaen2237 Russia is to be blamed for its illegal, murderous and barbaric invasion, I am sure Ukraine will endure the missile storm and their air defence will improve to an extent that it will not be in Russia's interests to maintain same. As for making Russia look more imposing I think the reality is they are being made to look second best on the battlefield by Ukraine and its another "toys out of the pram" episode by a Kleptocrat not getting his way, Comrade!?!

@annebritraaen2237 He is using them to cause the most distress before Winter in Ukraine, it's no good Putin holding onto them for Spring it may be over for him then, and when the weather gets better the attacks on infrastructure will have a lot less impact than they may have at present when the weather is turning freezing cold!?!

Russia tried to blackmail Europe with its energy dependence on Russia, but that has backfired. The sanctions when fully implemented by Spring of next year and the further sanctions to be applied will degrade the Russian economy for decades, they will eventually be the biggest losers!?!

I don't think so, he said "the probability of Ukraine winning in the near future is low" or some such term, they are not going to win this year, but next is a probability, Ukraine has already set out its conditions for a peace deal, Russia just has to accept them!?!

Russia's moaning about propaganda? we will set the Russian killing mosquitos on them! Russia lobbed 100 missiles over Ukraine, so you don't think that had something to do with it, well I do, they are the aggressor, Ukraine was defending itself. Ukraine was expecting an unpleasant Winter anyway with the barbaric Russian horde at their door, but they will be buoyed by the fact that the Russian invaders will freeze more, that will give them some comfort huddled in front of a wood fire in the Winter months, while the Russian enemy is freezing to death with Ukrainian munitions peppering their poistions!?!
