  1. ​ @292Nigel  Bomber Harris had his wartime role, I for one am glad that he was more effective than his Nazi counterpart, similar to all the RAF, it was a vital part of helping to win the war, it's rather easy for you to scoff and pass judgement now, but the Nazis did far worse routinely!?!

  8. Yes I was watching a YouTube video where captured German pilots were sent to North America to see out the war, they should have remained in London!?!

Yes a programme was on UK TV about children in the war (Who were over 60 when interviewed) and after a bad London raid the children went looking for treasures and thought they could see a chicken and when they got there it was an older neighbours body part, they said they grew up quick then, amongst other terrible stories!?!

  10. ​ @michaelwilliamson4759  It helped us dismantle the German war machine and helped win the war, regardless of what you think, Dresden was bombed for 4 days, London was bombed for 56 out of 57 days, the Nazis routinely did far worse, you are trying to rewrite history, you are not Russian are you comrade!?!

  11. ​ @michaelwilliamson4759  What a rant for Hitler you are a card, the Nazis started the war, fact comrade bot, the Allies finished it, the in between bit was punctuated by Nazi atrocities of the worst order, a fact that escapes you, the allies tried to keep it to the destruction of the German war machine, and I'm glad they were successful!?!
