  4. ​ @OleDiaBole  That's 30% of the 20% of the available "equipment" deployed to date comrade, that's 6% overall, that 6% equipment will be repaired or replaced within two months and would have saved more Ukrainian soldiers lives than their old (Soviet) equipment, not so the Russian equipment which is taking nearly 12 months to replace, that's why they are using old Soviet stock which does not give them so much protection comrade, Russia must try harder or best bet just leave Ukraine, that is the Ukraine under international law, not Russian land grab rights!?!

  9. The Russian side are most probably mobilised forces as well including from some other reports that it also includes prisoners recruited by the Russian Army directly, so hopefully Ukraine is depleting their attackers at a good ratio, that's the name of the game!?!

  11. ​ @nosuchthingasshould4175  The governments are moving at a pace slower than we would like but everything should be in place for next Spring, it still gives Ukraine an opportunity to gain territory (Albeit slowly) during this summer and a stronger push next year if no decisive breakthrough can be made, the 2,000 longer range missile delay is a big problem as this can hamper Russian logistics to a great extent!?!

  14. ​ @philknox  It's not your war personally and no US people are fighting in Ukraine (Unless they are volunteers!), however the US did sign the original peace agreement along with Russia and the UK and Ukraine so it has some obligations in providing defence aid to Ukraine, there are other geopolitical issues to consider also. Europe has provided more aid to Ukraine (Which is the right thing to do) but the US has an abundance of surplus defence equipment which would aid Ukraine's effort to remove the barbaric Russians!?!

  16. "We" all hope for momentum, to reduce Ukrainian lives, but Ukraine is doing the fighting so they must advance at their pace, and the thing is, they are advancing on all fronts, not just one place! Russia is currently advancing backwards!?!

  17.  @moiseshuerta3984 Because it has been going on for 200 or so odd years peace can only be achieved by defeating the illegal and barbaric invader, Ukraine is developing a capable Army and equipment for the task in hand, so hopefully it will achieve liberation this year or early next year, Russia will still be a bad neighbour, but it's ambitions will be netured, in the future it will not be able to wage war due to its economy and demographic problems!?!

  18. Ukraine can mobilise a further 3 to 4 million conscripts, not necessarily volunteers, it's a war and they do not lack troops, just equipment!?!

He has just confirmed that they are degrading Russian logistics (Which Russia claims to have prevented even though the likely chaos of such a strike is happening) he is not saying that they have launched the main part of the counter offensive as yet as it is still a work in progress, but Russia is still "slowly" advancing backwards in Ukraine and Ukraine is depleting their forces, hopefully at a high ratio to theirs, which due to Russian tactics of immediately counter attacking on lost land would seem to be what's happening, at present, it's tough for Ukraine, but it is their land not Russia's, and if Russia left Ukraine would have no desire to go into Russian territory, quite the opposite!?!

The progress is slow but steady and is keeping Ukraine loses as low as possible while maximizing Russia losses especially when Russia counter attacks after losing ground immediately, Ukraine should take advantage of this scenario by temporarily defending the position to gain maximum losses before proceeding with their advance once the threat is eliminated, that is the aim of war to inflict such losses that the enemy retreats from the battlefield, it is not about gaining territory because if the other army is intact they can counter attack at a future date, it's about wiping out the enemy so there are no more attacks. It can be noted that the Russian military are the ones under pressure that's why the personnel changes are being made at the top, a clear indication that all is not well in the Russia camp, we should support Ukraine in any case until they are able to boot Russia out whenever that is, if it's not this year, then next, Ukraine is not getting weaker they are getting stronger and with more Western hardware on the way including a big increase in munitions, things will improve, Putin's plan is to delay things at present and hope the West does not continue to support Ukraine in the long run, that would be the biggest travesty in my eyes, we stay the course, Russia will still be a bad neighbour to all concerned, but it's claws will be removed!?!

The real progress is that after 500 and odd days of a three day war Russia is advancing backwards, their economy is in tatters and they have two new NATO neighbours, and Putin will be the new president of Russia in 2024 by a landslide as the result is already in the Kremlin, hopefully they can last that long!?!

  32. Nothing much at present, an attack across the river would be extremely difficult unless Ukraine had a load of amphibious armoured vehicles. The Nuclear power plant has its own supply of cooling water in a separate pool, it's just how long it can last for, but it is pretty sizable!?!

  34.  @PPPP-kg5zz  At the start of the war Russia was firing 60,000 shells a day, at present it is at 20,000 shells a day, Ukraine is firing 2,000 to 4,000 shells per day, the Wider West will be producing up to five times as much munitions as Russia by mid 2023, and initial Russian war stocks are depleting drastically, Ukraine will have as many, if not more shells than Russia by Autumn of 2023, if the war continues into 2024 it will have double the amount.Ukraine is becoming a no fly zone to Russia so the only thing that is required at present is 100 mile radius missiles to attack Russian artillery and logistics, jets would not be effective at present as Russia has air defence and Ukraine would have better use of armoured vehicles and missiles!?!

Absolutely nobody believes Russia war update at this point comrade, we do not totally rely on Ukraine's update until there is proof, the proof said the Train supply line is heavily damaged despite denials that all storm shadows were shot down and Ukraine has advanced by 5km into Russian held territory, of course Ukraine has suffered losses it's a war, but all equipment will be replaced or restored within three weeks, and the majority of the strike force are waiting in the wings, and if you think Ukraine is just going to go through the defense lines one by one you don't know Ukraine, when they get closer it will be a breakthrough and all hell will be let loose after Russian logistics is further crippled by more strikes, and if they don't do it this year, they will do it again next year, it is Ukrainian territory comrade, as long as it takes!?!

  38. ​ @buffuniballer It's 30% of 20% sent to the frontline so it's only 6% in total, that's about a 5:1 ratio of Russia's equipment lost to Ukraine, that's enough for a mismatch in the coming months or next year, however long it takes, the aim is to get Russia out, that's the objective by depleting their barbaric invading forces!?!

  42.  @matrixdecoded4226  Abrams are a wooden peg, 2024 is the date all the maintenance equipment and modifications will take to enable the tanks to be used in Ukraine to most probably run on diesel and with less armour, before that time however there will have been 400 hundred leopard/ Challenger / LeClercs sent and 100 mile radius missiles and jets and hopefully the war will be majorly over in Ukraine's favour!?!

Yes one of the places he named today would be unfathomable in the West, so it's a great help that he is an English speaking Ukrainian, but the German guy (Torsk?) who also does reasonable overview reporting is amusing at his pronunciations of the names, and Denys for an overview of course, they are the ones I regularly look at as well as this channel which is the detailed tactical report!?!
