@thehappyclam3942 based on international law Crimea is Sovereign Ukraine territory and illegally invaded by Russia, it was also under international law illegally annexed by Russia along with all the other territories it is occupying and illegally annexed, so only Russia and a few tin pot states who supported them think it's Russian, almost everybody else thinks it's Ukrainian, and Ukraine is fighting to boot the Russians out and will supported in its defence by the Wider West, as long as it takes!?!

Ukraine lost 20% of its battlefield equipment, but they only sent 20% of the equipment to the battlefield so that 4% of the total and 2% will be repaired and 2% replaced within a couple of months!?!

@tonyperrotti5049 They are moved on the railway line about 20 or 30 at a time, but not at present they are still limited from the first attack, they could be taken on low loaders on the road though (The older and lighter ones anyway)!?!

It is not important for you to know the Ukrainian losses, it's important for Ukraine, they have 3.5 million men to be drafted into the war, along with women who are eligible, if they continue to choose to fight for their freedom (It is up to them!) they will have sufficient soldiers to win the war, hopefully the West can sort out the supply chain issues for artillery, long range missiles and air defence, air support will bring in a new set of problems!?!

I think the water is primarily for agricultural use as well as drinking water, drinking water can be supplied in any case by ferries but not so much for agriculture and if they don't grow their own food they have to get that in and that will be the problem that Peter was referring to as it will affect all of the Southern recently illegally occupied territories and previously illegally occupied Crimea!?!

Teaming up with Russia to stop China? Both Russia and China are not really trustworthy allies but they do both hate the West, the US in particular, if he wants better allies look to Western Europe, you wont find them in Russia they are serial liars, what a plonker!?!

As far as I am aware if there "are" nukes in Belarus, Russia controls them and not Belarusians and as Putin previously said they paid Wagner whatever they do is the same as acting on behalf of him and the Russian State!?!

Ukraine should be supported for the duration, however long that is as other things also may be bought into play if the West cannot aid Ukraine enough to deter the Russians. The West was smarting from the Afghan withdrawal, not because we left, it was a lost cause, but the manner in which we left. Another failure by the West will give more ambition to the Autocrats as we will be seen to be weak. Donald Trump has an axe to grind against Ukraine because he lost the election and partly blames them (Wrongly) it shows that he does not see the big picture and shouldn't be swayed by his feelings, and therefore should not get into office, but that's just my opinion, I have no vote, I live in the UK, but if the US wants to keep allies (Russia and China are all ready undermining the developing it emerging countries to a great extent), it has to see the big picture, otherwise it will not be global but regional. The US under Biden has helped Ukraine to a great extent, but it's only less than 1% of GDP, which a number of US citizens are complaining about sending that money, however I would draw their attention to the 99% segment which they ignore not being spent on Ukraine and see if that money could be spent more wisely would be my pragmatic approach!?!

They will try almost anything to upset the equipment travelling from the West, but starting another war is very unlikely, but he is stupid, however Lukashenko in that regard at least is not so stupid he's trying by all his meagre means to stay out, but Putin got him to do some Propaganda work for his troubles!?!

Lukashenko made it very clear that he was reading from a script, make of that what you will, my interpretation is even he does not believe this wadscallop, but he most probably was persuaded by Putin, hes still a repressive autocrat but throughout he has been unwilling to join in, Russia uses his Country but Belarus takes no part in the war, I think Wagner are there to simply release Russian troops to Ukraine and they will keep a beady eye on Luca, obviously Poland has got to keep a lookout on the border for silly attacks that Russia does but I dont think they fret much, they should have nuclear weapons stationed however because of the threat made against them by Russia/ Belarus was "by all means"!?!

@effexon I am not looking to start a war with or for Poland or anybody else, Russia and its ally is suggesting the same and it's nonsense, War is a cruel mistress, Russia has found that out, it's hardly likely to attack Poland as well which would be like the Ukraine army with 10 years extra of training at least, whatever equipment Poland has got will be mostly better than the Russian versions, but Putin is stupid, he started a three day war and look where it got him, you can't rule it out, at present he is the biggest threat to security and appeasement is not the right policy. Putin's big plan is to extend the war between Russia and Ukraine, sow seeds of failure on Ukraine (It's not failing, it's just going slower than they would like) and hope for a Trump presidency in 2024, that's his only aim at present because he's running out of other options!?!

Seems way too high, but it is a guess like other guesses, I think Russian losses are around 50k but extra for Wagner 20k and Donbas militia 20k = 90k x 3 = 270k Kia or injured! Ukraine 20k x 3 = 60k, which is 30k short on a 5:1 ratio which Ukraine ideally needs, which considering the obstacles it has faced is a huge effort on their part, Ukraine is paying a heavy price, hopefully Russia's price is defeat that ensures a change to its citizens outlook, but I'm not holding my breath!?!

NATO is not going to do anything unless Russia attacks a NATO country directly, then I would imagine an unexpected and major response will ensue, they dont want Russias actions to be passed off as an accident!?!

@JocoMarkovic-gf1eh Unfortunately we all know Russia - It collapsed as Imperial Russia in 1917 then again as the Soviet Union in 1991 and is heading for life support at present, it will not change its Imperialistic ways and it's paying a heavy price, so are it's neighbours who really detest the Russians due to their barbarism and assertion that they are right when international law says otherwise, yes that Russia!?!
