@arnaudpayet6173 We are dependent on the US because Europe makes country specific decisions for the continent relating to their self interests rather than what's best for Europe, Germany and France are at the head of that Gorgon and Macrons speech shows nothing has changed, he should be pensioned off but apparently he's not old enough just yet!?!

@DarkAngelEU France and Germany's power base has been eroded by their tortuous Russian energy debacle, it appears that as both leaders have visited China that they will make the same silly mistakes again, if China starts a war with Tawain all bets are off, I'm pretty sure that the US will sanction anybody who trades with China at this time. China has been increasing the rhetoric about war and it therefore cannot be ruled out, it has also been making threats to the Wider West in general. I hope that there is no war for Tawain but Macrons message adds to China's intentions rather than the US's of warning China of repercussions if it does, I.E. It's like Macron is giving them a free pass, the burke!?!

@nataliarey1271 There is a war in Europe because a barbaric Russian horde illegally invaded Ukraine, it has nothing to do with NATO and the US, it's just Putin thought he could get away with it and he didn't, we are well aware of the truth of the matter, it's you who are blind, you will note that two more countries have joined/ applied for NATO status directly because of the Russian actions!?!

@nataliarey1271 Russia, China and the US thinks Europe is punching below its weight. Russia invaded Ukraine because it didn't have any regard for a European backlash, and "some countries" had to be dragged kicking and screaming to do the right thing. France as a World Military Power is underwhelming as they look to dodge the responsibility of upholding the rule of international law, it doesn't fit well, Europe should combine forces under NATO to be a more credible threat!?!
