@louislux Well Mainland Europe caused the problem in the first place by being reliant on Russian Energy, so using them as a "Role Model" is a tad bizarre, and as Germany doesn't want to go down the new nuclear route and is stalking on renewables for carbon energy Mainland Europe's Energy will be stymied for a decade, at least the U.K. is trying to use wind and nuclear to mainly generate our electricity by 2030-2035!

@shoulders-of-giants In the past, present and future the U.K. has always been in Europe, it's no longer in the E.U. which is a disparate cartel acting as a country!

@benjamin2149 Europe's super efficient streamlined mega bucks energy network lies in tatters on the bottom of the sea, this is the major factor affecting our energy market, their gullible and greedy reliance on Russian Energy, a fact you somehow overlooked, even though it is quite stupendously glaringly obvious!?!

@KJSvitko Solar panels in Northern Europe are a waste of money, they only work effectively when you least need them, wind and in the future tidal power generation is the way to go, backed up by 25% baseload nuclear!?!

@simeonivanov3507 The problem with all of Europe is mismanagement of the Energy market since the last oil crisis, at least we are updating our new nuclear (25%) and building wind renewables (50% -70% the cheapest renewable for the U.K. at present) to majorly power our electricity generation by 2030-2035, hopefully tidal generation will follow!?!

@heldertorres4296 The E.U. caused the problem by its most of its members reliance on Russian Energy crashing the whole European market instead of using alternative suppliers from 2014! We in the U.K. are making steps to be energy independent so it doesn't happen in the future, and be more considerate and we might flog you some in the future as the E.U. will still be mainly reliant on a hostile carbon energy market and will have to pay more in defence to stop Russia's ambitions, which they have underfunded for years and the costs involved with weaning itself off reliance on China, it's next Autocratic problem!?!
1
@brutusduran8592 ......and the E.U. members caused the current energy crisis by being dependent on Russian Energy!?!
1
@PhageTheFinalCure Fortunately not part of the E.U. the corrupt non elected bureaucrats whose member states caused the energy crisis in the first place!?!

@jgdecaro1 I'll repent if my energy bill is paid, Billy No Mates Chapter 1 verse 1 "Never look for a gift horse in the mouth"!?!
1
@sammiller6631 Higher prices were caused by some E.U. Member states crashing our energy market due to their reliance on Russian Energy!?!
1
@edc1569 Hopefully by 2030-2035 we will become energy independent from the European market as they look like it is going to take a while to sort out the mess they are in!?!
