Yes it's a bit trickier because the Mother of child bearing age might be looking after the parents/ grandparents as well as trying to bring up the proposed 3 children and part time working, that's why their birth rate is only 1.14 in the first place!?!

You are under a misapprehension, it has the best health care system and pension of any Country for the elderly, but only for the top echelons of the C.C.P. and their families!?!

@lja996 United States and Europe is China's largest trading partners at nearly 1.2 Trillion and it has its biggest surplus of 700 billion, ASEAN trade is 567 billion and a surplus of 159 billion, hardly any comparison there I think!?!

Chinas commercial planes only fly in China due to safety issues and they are made with a large percentage of Western parts, they may make a number of chips but they will again only be sold in China due to security concerns, this will permeate through all of China's high end goods and will therefore not gain much traction in the Wider West, which appears to be restricting China's exports for supply robustness across a swathe of products!?!

@Lex Beaf They can but it is foolish to do so, Xi is placing all his eggs in the debt basket, it is not growth, it is huge amounts of debt, China can surpass the U.S. if it spends all it citizens money in doing so, and I suppose there is nothing to stop him should he choose to do so!?!

Most other countries haven't got over 300% (and rising) of debt and threaten their neighbours by firing missiles willy nilly, unless you count the other autocratic states!?!

@hakjie1112 It is both a success and failure at the same time, it's success in manufacturing and it's failure with debt and systemic problems, unfortunately China has decided to continue with its debt policy instead of a reset of its economy to productive levels, this will require a reduction to the GDP by approx. 15% for a decade, and reduction in C.C.P. charges by 10 to 15%!?!

@anwiycti1585 Russia has the exact same intolerance as China when it's authority is remotely questioned, it just "pretends" to be more open and supposedly obey the rule of law!?!
1
@jacobmee Nobody has to buy things from you, it's if it's within their interests to trade as well, China is making it's interests incompatible with the Wider West!?!

@thiosemicarbizidebenzoylal2921 Everything that's expendable and cheap comes from China, it's recent exports are pushed for quantity and the quality is further slipping down the order as it struggles with COVID!?!
1
@andia968 Debt is the biggest limiter to Chinese growth and they only make money on exports, which may be reduced further!?!
1
@ciybersal9833 They are outgrowing the U.S. by debt, not by innovation or industry, by collosal amounts of debt!?!
