Changing to EV cars at a ridiculous time scale will just artificially increase the price and 2030 is a ridiculous time scale, even now everyone without an "eco" head (We pollute less than 1% China 29%) or "rich" can see that, the introduction period should be 2040 though instead of 2035, but that most probably will change down the line, when ICE was originally introduced from horse and carts and steam engines run from 1900 to 1930's and the big change over only happened when it was "easier and cheaper to do so" as ice vehicles improved, obviously during times of crisis like WWI it was delayed, and there are far more vehicles now, if eco warriors want to make the change over far more quickly than what is economically responsible when they protest they should be identified and their tax should be tripled to help pay for it!?!
