@nigelsynnott7344 A big benefit is that we can vote the government (The current one of which is not performing) out of office. The E.U. is set up to be uncontrollable except by big businesses so does not work for differing countries voters, I would accept economic union but not political union, that is dead in the water. The E.U. has bigger problems than the U.K. as the German Powerhouse has had its engine ripped out by Russia due to its stupidity and greed, Spain, Italy, Greece and Hungary are basket cases and France will put distance on the E.U. when the bills start going up. All E.U. countries have been stagnating, inflation is rising and they haven't had Brexit - Yet!?!

@nigelsynnott7344 The question has been answered, an independent U.K. in control of its destiny and out of the unelected and protectionist E.U., if Europe makes it harder to do business that isn't our fault, we adapt to their foibles and export wider, they are going to go through a lot worse!
