@seanearl The cost of a Tesla to the average Joe bloggs is prohibitive (Especially at the current interest rates of car finance!), China's BYD is the current Ford mass producer which made ICE main stream but unfortunately is failing on green production, state sponsored stimulus and reliability issues, overall lithium battery power is not the solution but EV is, the tech is just not developed enough as yet, but it has improved a lot. The approach to adopting EV's has been misguided, there is insufficient infrastructure in place (Green Energy Implementation in the form of Wind - New Nuclear - Solar / Network Grid Upgrade/ Economic Mass Energy Storage / Charging points) this is what needs to be completed by 2035 in Europe then EV's most probably will develop further from that. The US has sufficient oil reserves for the future that politicians can see as far as, so I see no "significant" green changes there for decades!?!
