@Leadbelly. Why would Canada cut you off, their investments mean they want to export energy and they have enough for domestic use and the US is like next door, and I don't think Canada is going to invade Greenland and blackmail the US into agreeing with its plans, they are not "so" stupid like some countries you could mention. There are problems everywhere in the World for poor people, and some more than others, but it would be difficult overall to say the US was in such a mess, perhaps you should compare with the Chinese (None CCP Chinese that is, the ones who are not richly corrupt!) who have limited freedoms, opportunity and wages and yet apparently support the CCP!?!

Peter inferred the current government has no incentive to do that. However as Mexico overall seems to be improving in most parts I can't see a change in government because it can get the stuff from the USA most probably cheap enough at present, it doesn't seem to me that Mexico looks far into the future!?!
