@FraserFir-sb4lk Assuming when you extract 3.7 Trillion barrels of shale you have "some" ground to sit on. As the US is the most profligate consumers by far a reduction in consumption would be better than "wasteful" use of resources whether you have them or not!?!

@oscarwalton1188 Boomers never believed in Experts as it depends on who pays them what their report says (I can't remember all the codswallop they spouted and as it was a decade after WW2 and into the Cold War but obviously you had to develop a tougher skin), Gen X is mostly in charge these days and all we get is woke nonsense where the tail (minorities) wag the dog (majority) and that's why you have "your" problems, they are not from us, and we worked 48 hours a week "in work" and not 34 that's why we earned more, so as we tried to teach you pull your finger out and take responsibility, don't blame it on somebody else, your running the show, we are making our last bow and practically everything improved when we were in charge!?!
