@TommyTCGT China's total debt at present is $57,000,000,000,000, (Nearly double the US) and it has half of the value of US assets, so you are not in possession of the full facts and China's position is considerably worse on several systemic factors not just financial, it would be better to keep schtum!?!

@cristopherjeffery6737 They are doing something about it, but that is making the situation worse. China should try to condemn Russia and agree not to take Tawain by force and to open up its domestic market to trade and not commit human rights abuses and IP theft for starters might help things along, but don't expect any changes soon that will be a sign that they are going down the slippery path of Western Imperialism, don't you know!?!

@youarewrong5523 A 31 Trillion trade deficit is not ideal, but you are correct in pointing out that the US is more than capable of servicing that debt, it would not be able to transfer that debt to other countries as you suggest as the dollar would no longer be the world's reserve currency, the US would have to sell assets and such like if the situation required it. However it can be noted that total Chinese debt is 57 Trillion USD so they have a larger problem than the US and they are not the reserve currency!?!

@zhizhongxiao6487 It has been in decline since 2008 as it currently is sitting on 57 Trillion USD of total debt funding non productive infrastructure and the like, along with its other systemic problems which the CCP does not or will not be able to address!?!

The Germans and French have visited China recently obviously they are looking for a new Autocrat after falling out with the Russian one, it will end up the same way, as Russia tried to do, with China blackmailing Europe to achieve one of its aims, whatever that maybe, but they need "Trump" to tell them that. China for some reason doesn't think that Europe holds the same views on Russia's invasion of Ukraine as the US (Or UK) as they fail to notice that Ukraine is in Europe and the majority of European citizens (If not their leaders) are supporting Ukraine in their battle with Russia. It is a bad time for Europe as Russia has forced Europe to spend more money on arms and that rarely works out well for the rest of the World as they most probably will find out in a decade or so, Russia can expect to be especially nervous as Peter alluded to because Russia is now the biggest threat to Europe and starting with the Baltics Europe has its sights set on Russia, especially if Germany gets nuclear weapons (There is little indication to say it will) Russia will go into meltdown!?!
