Germany needs to go for Nuclear power plants for base load, at least 25% it's ludicrous that they don't, they are worried about a nuclear incident when burning Lignite coal has claimed far more lives than all the nuclear accidents combined. Wind from the North Sea and solar with batteries should provide the rest (Europe should set up a combined North Sea Grid, but they most probably won't). Peter is right that Germany whilst late in its condemnation of Russia has since stepped up to the plate and they do deserve praise for that, France are still feet draggers however. Europe should revert to an economic model and not an economic and political model as that is dead. Like all of Europe planning and the planning process for major contracts has to change drastically, not to lower standards but quicken the process it is far too slow, also it needs to put tariffs quickly on countries who don't follow the rules, and immigration needs tightening, they can escape their problems because they have regenerated after two world Wars, they just need to get back on track and ditch the minorities!?!

The UK's population is forecast to rise to nearly the same as Germany's in 2050 (75 Million to 78 Million) and surpass it by 2100. The UK economy is set to pass Germany's in the 2030's and be the biggest economy in Europe!?!
