  1. Russia has not got the economy to sustain a protracted war of this magnitude, the price caps were only implemented in December for Crude and February for Refined (Two thirds of the Gas supplies are already up the spout). They do appear to be doing a grab and stop possibly with the threats, but that is highly unlikely to work with Ukraine. It does not make much sense but perhaps Russia doesn't back itself for the long term anymore!?!
