A significant portion of the population had money invested in property which is still in a precarious poistion, I would imagine that most Chinese citizens are at the bank of mattress stuffing at the moment to try and keep their cash at arms length from the CCP, the Chinese citizens are good savers, but the CCP are really, really, really good spenders, therein lies the problem of 57 Trillion USD of total debt!?!

  3. The CCP controls all the levers of finance in China, there are no private institutions there will never be any private institutions, the CCP is encouraging private pension schemes so they can reduce the public pension schemes. Foreign investors in China must be prepared to lose their shirts!?!
