Yes, the US is going off Saudi although it has not completely shut the door, China has longer ties with Iran, so Saudi are trying Europe, who do need oil and gas resources in the short term and most probably will pay more for them, in twenty years time the Arab States could be in a bit of a pickle, though if Europe achieves it net zero targets, only leaves the Asian markets!?!

  3. Same as a non bankrupt country's currency, what people are willing to pay for it, it could be 1 USD or 0.14 for the Yuan to the USD or 0.029 like Venezuela Vez to the USD or 0.011 like the Rouble to the USD, take your pick!?!

He didn't speculate on it, he reported what was said about it, he also advised us where he actually was, we can make up our own minds of the why, I think it's because Xi thinks he's the strongest power in Asia and he doesn't want to be seen in India playing second fiddle to an inferior nation, especially when they are gaining traction on China!?!

The Yuan contrary to popular belief is very much dependent on China's Economic Crisis and how much debt it can borrow to stimulate the economy, not much at present seems to be the answer so that's why the Yuan is losing ground, and investment and shares are going down as well to increase the gloom!?!
