Well the biggest thing to notice was this Asian summit was in the US! The Asian countries bordering China have definitely moved to the US fence and China has tried to "bully" them back(?), but China poses such a threat that it will not work, if they choose war on any front then their current problems will be "Hundred folded" all the other countries are trying to avoid it, but if it happens it will escalate out of hand fairly rapidly, no result is any good for China at present, they are separating from the global market in deeds, their "words" do not match with that when drumming up investment support but the cat is out of the bag, there is to much risk in the Chinese economy and foreign Countries who invest in China will be the first to get burnt if anything goes wrong, all responsible Countries should prepare for war with China but hope it will not be required, they must change their words and deeds!?!

It's not like he murdered or imprisoned his rivals or anything, well the press are largely anonymous about it anyway!?!
4
......and he did choose the friendlier version as well, a win/ win!?!

Everybody knows Xi's true intentions, the Phillipines have to be more forceful in progressing their claim or China will intimidate them to enforce their (......illegal under international law) claim otherwise the Phillipines will lose it!?!
1
Xi's words say "China is open for business" etc., but his deeds are saying China is closed to foreign investment as they are at the bottom of the list of creditors if "anything" goes wrong, not so much a haircut but a scalping, the foreign investors will get nothing out of the property developers who go bankrupt at present, it is maximum risk for not much return!?!
1
Blinken seems to be too wet!?!
1
Which is fine, but if they want to enforce their "internal claims" it will become an External International incident, it's a muggers buddle!?!
1
Biden was undiplomatic in his earlier remark, he could not refute that, but he at least put it more diplomatically. Xi (..and his lackeys) in his directives to the communist press in China has, since he's been "elected", (Funny enough all his opponents have been imprisoned or put to death for corruption in a corrupt society, what are the chances!) have heaped continual and far worse insults on Biden, the US and the Wider West!?!
1
Well China is going to power forward from here, but to where!?!
1
@keithdixon3896 US stocks are performing well overall, China's stocks are not, China has far more systematic problems and debt (57 Trillion China including on and off books to 37 Trillion US, all USD Total) than the US!?!
1
I don't necessarily agree that Trump is a dictator, Biden has been far more purposeful in containing China politically and economically and after the Afghanistan debacle pretty much error free overall (...but not without some gaffes, the vice President on the other hand has been anonymous!), but Biden was right about Xi, however all the communist Chinese papers have printed hate from the US every day for years, except it has been noticibly toned down with his visit to the US!?!
1
Emperor, what a terrible insult to someone of his magnificence, you mean "The Supreme Being". On the day of reckoning your name will be put on a list and you will be re-educated (Refer to Dad's Army - The Deadly Attachment)!?!
1
Absolutely nothing, but it's not "diplomatic", dealing with Xi will end in failure anyway, because he thinks he is the supreme leader of the Universe and only he can restore "order", only trouble is it's only in China that will be accepted!?!
1
The Chinese are going to push their interests no matter what, the Rest of the World has to do the same, China is not following international law in either the South China Sea or Tawain, any victory will further their ambitions, much like Russia!?!
1
Well if the other side has been blinded by Xi poking them in the eye since he got "Elected" he might have a case, but if they have any semblance of sanity the barge pole will be kept at their side, Xi is just looking for patsies, he would have better luck in Europe, but even that is souring!?!
1
The Chinese won't stop if they get more, is the problem, the same as Russia, they are run by petulant "dictators" (Are we allowed to call them that, I mean it's not like they have murdered the opposition or anything)!?!
1
Well one is trying to avoid a war and one is pushing the agenda on it, and all the pushing is coming from China, not the US, just ask China's neighbours!?!
