  4. That is China's charm offensive, France and Germany have a long road to walk before it dawns on them that China's ambitions are to erode the Wider West rules based order. It is unfortunate because if China had adopted the rules based order they might have become the biggest economy, but that will be a sour dream in the future as they are unwilling to change!?!

The BRI will continue in rich countries only, China needs to see some return on its non productive infrastructure investment which it spends to prop up GDP, in China it just goes to debt, but sending Chinese companies out to carry out works to richer countries should ensure some sort of return. Why richer countries would involve China in their infrastructure development is another matter!?!

Tony reports from varied media outlets which he carefully puts in a balanced report, I don't agree with all the reports (Especially those from the Global Times and such like, but they have some comedic value to me I suppose) but at least Tony puts the time and effort into them, it looks like a case of don't shoot the messenger!?!

Well they should have left when Beijing introduced the original "back to one country, one system" policies, the writing was already on the wall, China's rhetoric makes it difficult for any foreigners to remain as the CCP officials could decide it's their civic duty to persecute you, their rule of law is made to suit them!?!

The French and German elements of the Eurozone are marching to Chinas tune, they got it completely wrong with Russia, they seem to be doubling down on their errors, they have a big blindside with regard to Autocrats. The UK wants a stronger "Europe" too, but unfortunately with the French/ German axis this is unlikely to happen, they would rather deal with their enemies rather than their closest allies, they are still acting as Defacto leaders of Europe when their authority has been undermined by their recent blunders!?!

  9. The bigger picture between China and the West can easily be represented, China's total debt is 57 Trillion USD, more than the Wider West's combined total debt. That is the bigger picture, it's still not rosy for China, they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!?!

Various stimulus packages will be implemented underpinned by copious amounts of debt to achieve the GDP, that's the CCP way since around 2008, that's why the current total debt burden is an eye watering 57 Trillion USD and rising to around 67 Trillion USD in 2027, but apparently as long as they hide the debt Goldman Sachs will still say invest in China, well foreigners who do will be at the back of a very long queue, so far that they will be out of sight (Of any money)!?!
