It's up to Ukraine whether it wants to join NATO or not, it had already said to a Russian Envoy that it would not join NATO prior to the invasion, but Russia invaded anyway, another two countries have since joined and if Russia loses the war I would not be surprised if Ukraine joined, so Putin brought this upon himself, Billy no mates got no one else to blame!

  5. Russia did nothing wrong - They invaded Ukraine illegally. However, Germany and the wider E.U. shot themselves in the foot by being partly reliant on Russian gas (40 odd %). However Russia is 86% reliant on Europe as an export market for its gas, there is only one winner in that energy transition and it's not Russia - China and India could not economically take the remainder of the gas either!

The western countries have been forced into a temporary energy crisis by sheer stupidity by Germany and Italy (and others in the E.U. but to a lesser extent) by being tied to cheap Russian Energy which has backfired on them and spread to the wider energy market, in time this will correct itself, but Russia will be without it's nearest market, and it will cost them to export it elsewhere and they are inefficient at extracting the energy in the first place, so in the fullness of time Russia will be crippled. I like your T.V. programme by the way!?!

  20. Russia invaded Ukrainian illegally, Europe did not invade Russia, it along with the U.S. is helping Ukraine defend itself against a barbaric aggressor. Russia ripped up every agreement in persecuting the war even with regard to the Geneva convention, a Russian official before the start of the war confirmed that Ukraine would agree not to join NATO but Putin still invaded, it is very difficult to negotiate with a thieving lying Kleptocrat! Note that since the war two more countries along its border have joined NATO due to Russia's actions, not anybody else's!

Mainland Europe hasn't helped matters by being dependent on Russian gas (40 odd %). However Russia is dependent on Europe for 86% of its gas exports so there will only be one winner there. For a temporary period Europe has to transition from Russian Energy, and various schemes are being introduced to help consumers pay high bills, in the long term Europe will be better off without funding the Russian War Machine!   37. It's just a pity that they don't manufacture much (They are totally inefficient) and what they do make is only useable in Russia (...and maybe some of it "Allies"). Russia's oil and gas output will decline as most of the outside specialist's used before the "SMO" will not maintain them for the foreseeable future!

I suppose he'll be packed off to Siberia next, you can't tell the truth in Russia. Note - J.P. Morgan estimates the drop is not as bad as expected, but still a 4 year's worth of decline ( Again confirmed by the Russian Finance Minster, Pesky chap, will be defo be sorted, hope he doesn't drink tea)!
