The western countries have been forced into a temporary energy crisis by sheer stupidity by Germany and Italy (and others in the E.U. but to a lesser extent) by being tied to cheap Russian Energy which has backfired on them and spread to the wider energy market, in time this will correct itself, but Russia will be without it's nearest market, and it will cost them to export it elsewhere and they are inefficient at extracting the energy in the first place, so in the fullness of time Russia will be crippled. I like your T.V. programme by the way!?!

It's just a pity that they don't manufacture much (They are totally inefficient) and what they do make is only useable in Russia (...and maybe some of it "Allies"). Russia's oil and gas output will decline as most of the outside specialist's used before the "SMO" will not maintain them for the foreseeable future!

@georgechristoforou991 Russian Economy is a joke, but Vlad the Imploder's pension fund, that's something else. The U.K. Media is not perfect, but is stellar compared to the Russian tripe!

@malowatubolo8947 Russia is doing just great, a ten year drop in GDP, and that's the Russian finance minsters outlook. I suppose he'll be packed off to Siberia next, you can't tell the truth in Russia. Note - J.P. Morgan estimates the drop is not as bad as expected, but still a 4 year's worth of decline ( Again confirmed by the Russian Finance Minster, Pesky chap, will be defo be sorted, hope he doesn't drink tea)!

What good reason is that? To start a war for a made up reason, to bomb civilians including children, to commit the most barbaric war crimes, to tell a pack of continuous lies and jail it's own citizens if they have the gall to challenge these lies, that's strong Russia, sounds like an inferiority complex!

Russia invaded Ukraine, can't see how the West started anything, he wasn't strangleholded, but boxed themselves into a corner, they could have bought Ukrainian neutrality by funding "Special Projects" out of their massive surplus, but thought they could walk in and take it for free, but their's no such thing as a free launch!
