@rodanone4895 the Japanese military encouraged its officers to have "blood games" where they would compete to see how many civilians they could kill in a day, Japan still to this day denies that ever happened

@5thfloor584 "this is well known" no this is propaganda lmao, go talk to older germans and I mean actually talk to them it's always damning reading older germans journals or diaries, today most of them claim "we didn't know, we only accepted the nazis for the economy" yet dozens of studies show that millions of germans agreed with and accepted the Party's racial ideologies "smaller than US parties" per capita the Party was twice as large compared to the Democratic or Republic parties I always find it funny when people say "most germans didn't like the racial stuff".....when we have photos of rallies and anti Jewish events hosting thousands of germans almost every german agreed with the racial policies, just after the war no one wanted to admit to the people who just stomped out their ideology that they were "apart of the party" it was fear of losing status in the country that kept most germans mouths shut

@rodanone4895 Japan to this day denys the majority of their warcrimes or crimes against China and Korea, they don't even teach about what they did in school. Honestly the biggest shock of my life was going to Japan, talking to another student, and learning that to the Japanese, they believe the US was far too extreme on them for fighting a "just" war

@jeffrutledge1789 not a warcrime when everyone in both countries is actively supporting a genocide, I'm German and wholeheartedly believe every single German citizen was culpable for what their government did same with the Japanese (the Japanese who btw admitted that their entire medical system had participated in absolutely brutal human experiments) and who's civilians fucking celebrated hearing about the amount of Chinese that were dying in China
