YEah good idea. They are more likely to laugh and make fun of them after reading just a little of it , than actually be interested. "Queer theory" and chapter on black feminism. Sound like a very interesting and riveting read for most high schoolers Im sure. :face-green-smiling:

@davidguelette7036 Nope. Sorry. Not where it originated. Most people dont even know who the hell "qanon" even is. And nobody I know got the word from Desantis. Ive heard the term before he ever even became a public figure.

@Wiley_Coyote Banning inappropriate ones from children in schools? Absolutely. Burning? No not at all. Wasting a resource. I would say send them overseas so they can wIpe their tushes with them in third world countries. A humanitarian effort. And the biggest contribution any of those author have ever made to anyone.

I love how the liberal clowns totally ignore the facts about what Desantis said his problem was with the program and point to other things in a whole different direction to make it sound worse. Every liberal far left kook on the planet is a deceitful disingenuous fraud I guess.

@vforwombat9915 Sure there is. Tax payers dont want to pay for garbage books that have no educational value. Also allowing every clown group that comes along to propose and succeed in getting subject taught with anything at all that they see fit no matter how bizarre sets a VERY dangerous prescedent. WHen i was in school i would have liked to have a class that studied college girl anatomy. When that class never came about I didnt whine like a scalded dog all over the internet. Threatening to sue everyone and calling everyone "anti-teen male" Hope that clarifies things. So thanks, but no thanks.....

I never said a thing that should make any sane person think I dont want kids "to not accept people who are different" 100% falsehood and intentional lie about my position. Not one sentence i posted could be taken as me saying that. You also misrepresent my position on guns. I never even mentioned my position so thats not a surprise. I support the 2nd amendment. I dont need guns to protect me. I feel quite safe without them. Im a rather large man and dont live in a particularly bad area. I do enjoy target shooting and hunting. Women have plenty of rights. Have it about as good as it gets here. No woman I know feel the least bit "opressed". If you know some that are, IF they dont like it, let them try the middle east.

@JBond-zf4dj As for Tucker Carlson, he usually does speak the truth as far as the few times I have watched his show. Trump, Im not a huge fan. Only reason i supported him is because he was better than the opposing options. Hillary and Biden. I would have MUCH preferrred a more down to earth candidate like desantis. I think Trump had some excellent policies. I dont think he did himself many good favors with his poor public relations and being way too vocal at times, when he shouldnt have, personal attacks etc.. Hate him all you like, Desantis does things much smarter and is no nonsense, but not nearly as combative as Trump.
