In ancient history they gave Philippines independence even though they did not have to and could have easily "kept" the country and did whatever they wanted like the spanish and Japan did. The US have since beaten nation after nation, usually terrorist nations, in wars and have not kept a single inch of the territories for themselves. They are a good and powerful ally. Much more honorable, internationally respected and more powerful than China. Even if what you say was true, that would be better than falling under the rule of china. @pisablavatsky-cb3dd

  13. With so many other nations that are neighbors of Russia or very nearby now being nato, dont really think that not wanting ukraine in nato is a viable or logical excuse? Why are they different??? Oh that's right it's an ex Soviet state that, if joined nato, would be out of Russia's reach for take over and reintegration forever! Unfortunately for putler, the 3 day operation had not gone so well and has lead not to Soviet era glory but intense humiliation.

The huge majority of the international community see USA as "good guys" and in the right... And because USA is the police of the world and friends and allies to the huge majority....When you speak of sanctions against the US... You're just flapping your gums to make yourself feel better... If USA was just a bunch of lawless international thugs that nobody liked or trusted (like russia) then yes, at that point they would be sanctioned by the international community. Sorry, but i dont see that happening any time soon....
