Only reason ANYONE would refer to it as a loss is because US left the war and didnt achieve the impossible political goal and the "newly elected" president wanted out of vietnam. Afghanistan cant be labeled a loss by ANY reasoning or rationale. lol NOBODY loses ANY war when they 1. met all of their main objectives. 2. Held the country for 20 years in pretty much total control. And 3.only lost 2400 men the entire time. lol (compared to over 70000 Afghanis sent to allah) Even the most clueless fool, knowing those facts, can figure out who won and who lost. lol  @Yuri-mj5zu

  13. Sorry kid, their goal was DESTROY ALQUAEDA. Not Taliban. Taliban simply got pulled into it. They were never a "goal"...ever. THey destroyed al quaeda. They destroyed Bin Ladin (who was a goal as well) and his generals. Simply google search will confirm that for you Junior. Google is your friend. Thee isnt one goal they didnt meet. They held the country for 20 years to let their "friendly" afghan group to try to hold the country and form a government, but most involved knew they could never do it in the unstable region. Only because of their "help" with information intelligence and to a small degree their fighting, were they given this consideration. Otherwise US could not care less who runs afghanstan.   14. You mean , when they left willingly on their own terms, after defeating afghas in one week and sent them into hiding for 20 years? And the had only 2400 men that died the entire time, most due to boredom of waiting on afghans to come out of hiding and actually fight? ha ha ha. @lafirmam1273
