  5. US wasnt there to control taliban. They were there for alquaeda because of 911. They whacked them and taluban simply got in the way, so also took a spanking. US took care of business and decided to turn the dump nation back to its people by leaving. Taliban came back out if their 20 year hiding as US left. Enjoy
