Afghanistan was beaten in a week, ran and hid for 20 years. lol. 70000 afghanis dead vs. less than 2400 US troops the entire time. US achieved its goals of destroying alqueada and killing bin ladin and his generals. Held nation for 20 years, left when they decided to. Not one second before. Vietnam 1.1 MILLION (with an "M") Vietkong were killed. only 58000 US troops. New US president got into office and didnt support the war, thought it was meaningless to the US. They dont really trust or like each other and sure as heck arent all going to ever come together and bleed for each other. And if they did it wouldnt really matter. The only people that survive a war with the US or west in general these days are those that are really really good at running and hiding. Not overwhelming with numbers... That would just mean alot more dead than the usual totally lopsided figures.  @operator9858
