Back then, they didnt deserve to be nuked twice. They deserved four. Japan is more ashamed of their past and wanting to put it behind them than anything else. They have done a great job of it and are now productive contributing prosperous members of the world society. The leader during the period of ww2 was worse than hitler. Do some research.

Now they prosper and are respected contributing members of the world. Thats what happens when you make good decisions and side with the good guys. Compare to the rogue crazies that do not, and what happens to them... Lessons to be taught and are understood by every sane nation of the world.
