  1. The underestimation was them thinking Russia was not only weak, but downright pathetic. For them to think Ukraine would win quickly with their limited weaponry and no real navy or modern airforce is just stupidity.

  3. Dont forget, Russia gained zero ground on their "failed offensive' that was nearly twice as long as ukraines. The only real gains they made at all were a the very beginning of the war, before ukraine even knew they were in a war. Basically theyve stalled out ever since. Thats going by the FACTS of total land occupation. Not simply my "opinion". Hope that clears up your confusion.

  4. Nato is not in question. They could easily beat both ukraine and russia combined. Nobody really believes otherwise, not even Russians although they would never admit it.   5. 1. Where am I from? Has nothing to do with anything said, so i dont seee where that matters. 2. Yes USSR/RUSSIA was DESTROYED by Hitler. USSR had DOUBLE the German military casualties and TRIPLE the total casualties that includes civilians. Only the US jumping in stopped USSR From becoming extinct. And thats a fact. And before that they controlled much more, but Ukraine took much of it back before Russia "dug in" and went into defense mode..And all of the land that Russia occupied and that which they continue to hold they took at the very beginning before ukraine was ever even ready to fight a war....And have taken little to nothing since.... You are clearly humiliated by Russias underwhelming performance, and nothing that you posted in that lengthy diatribe is realistically meaningful in any way. And no, US, nato or others military stocks arent really being "drained" lol. What is being drained is the excess that they have (not needed for own self protection or other potential conflicts) They have expendable supplies and thats whats given to ukraine. Nothing more. Thts why so many countries are involved. A little from here and a little from there and it adds up. US has enough where they can still provide multiple other nations with arms, including now, Israel. So if you think "helping" Ukraine in the limited fashion they have been is going to "drain" them, your really uneducated on the situation. There are so many types of missiles that the US possesses and many of them, ukraine has recieved ZERO. Ukraine has receieved a tiny number of tanks compared to their arsenal. THey have recieved ZERO jets from US (or anyone else) even though US has the TWO biggest airforces in the world,..... Their air force which is the first and their navy which is the second. And you think Russia alone can keep up with ukraines "backers" and bleed them all dry while Russia prospers? ha ha ha. Thats pure delusional. The only question is, how much support are these countries going to be willing t0 continue to provide or even increase. Thats and that alone, imo will determine the outcome. If they decide they would rather spend their money elsewhere, then Ukraine is out of luck. If they have a strong resolve and really want to stick it to russia, then Russia is in for nothing but more humilation. Its that simple.  @zlatankaric4715

  14. No they didnt. What they did was destroy over 20 million russian military men. USA then saved Russia. Nobody underestimated anything about Russia other than their ability and willingness to make up stories to save face and ease the pain of their many failures.

  15. I agree with some of this. Mainly this; It would have been CRAZY to expect ukraine to run russia quickly and easily right out of Ukraine. Ukraine has no navy. No modern air force. No top end choppers. Very few long range munitions, and none at all until very recently. Very limited numbers of missile defense systems. I dont know why they act like they expected a quick victory. It doesnt make sense. I think it shows Russias weakness that THEY haven been able to quickly overtake Ukraine! I would assume that the west is content to see the war drag out and maybe more effect Russias military and economy long term... Because it doesnt seem that they provide anywhere near the level of support they are capable of or to win a more decisive victory quicker.

  19. What would Russia do with nato? Absolutely nothing. They are horrified of nato and will do everything in their power to avoid that. They thought they were totallly destroyed by Germany until US swooped in and saved them... Nato would make that seem like a walk in the park for Russia.

We only need look at fairly recent history. Totally destroyed by Hitler and saved only by the US from total extinction. Lost to Afghanistan in the 1990s who now even has a holiday celebrating their win (Mujahideen Victory Day April 28) Then fell apart (USSR) into 15....yes FIFTEEN pieces. Now losing to a third world naton with no navy, no modern air force and very limited capabilities... Sorry but none of this really screams: "capable"? lol.

  30. HEs a failed leader that will be mocked by history. Losing a war to another very inferior opponent. Is an international fugitive who cannot even attend international world leaders events because he would be hauled off in leg irons if he attends. He is making decisions that will definately harm his countries long term success, both militarily and economically. Not to mention his third world country type antics of having people thrown out of windows, poisoned, etc... And who could forget the whole prigozhin circus show??.... Putin will be remembered as one of the biggest failed Russian leaders in the nations history. And I sincerely believe that.

And Russia losing so many men and on route to completely lose the war in ww2, nearly double the loses of Germany... until they were "saved" is one of the reasons of many, that Russia is pointed to as being inept despite all that manpower and to some degrees their weaponry. They just simply dont seem to be that good at fighting modern wars.
