  3.  @MarkNOTW  Nope. Sorry. that is taking over ukraine. We all know how phony Russian elections are. And if the people want to be part of Russia, they are free to move there. PLENTY of land there. NO. Putin wants the "honor" of reuniting the USSR or as much of it as he can to be proud of his legacy. Instead, he wont take Ukraine, hes been branded a war criminal and fugitive by the international community, and his country is likely to be a complete economic flop due to the costly war, tons of sanctions etc.. Just like when the USSR fell apart. Probably why europe and the us are more than happy to prolong the war. THey are splitting costs many ways. Russia isnt. THAT is destined to be his legacy. And he deserves every bit of it.
