And if you ever feel even more depressed....maybe... suicidal... Just remember Russia (ussr) lost to Afghanistan... Gave them a holiday to forever remember it (Mujahideen Victory Day, celebrated every april 28th) .... And then proceeded to fall apart into 15 pieces....:face-green-smiling::face-purple-crying: FOr the record, the us beat afghanistan in a week. lol Held the nation for 20 years and lost less than one third the total men that USSR did. lol. @returniniman1997 THey already won in afghanistan. Beat them pretty quickly. Only reason they stuck around as long as they did was to allow the government to try to get strong enough to hold the nation on their own... Very big ask in that extremely unstable politcal environment. That was only a secondary us goal. 20 years was long enough. Not overly important to the US either way. Would prefer friendlies everywhere of course.. But not exactly high priority like some other countries of the world. The goal was stated prior to going there... It was to punish AL-qaeda and lessen their capabilities... That was accomplished. Their leaders were destroyed also, including the founder, Bin Ladin. End of story.
