The people who support this venom are afraid not to look rich and successful. They are too insecure to embrace a working class dude's idea, it's not a brand they want to be seen with. Emma claims Tucker praises Moscow because of its "homogeneity." Russia has not been homogeneous since the 12th century. (NATO is homogeneous in that respect. By comparison, look who the BRICS+ are.)

You are conflating "conversion therapy" involving the attempt to force a person to change their sexual orientation, with therapy aimed at encouraging children and adolescents to accept the body into which they were born, whether that be male, female, or, in rare instances, intersex. If a person hates their body, supporting them in loving their body is not conversion therapy. They aren't trying to convert them from something they naturally are (such as gay, lesbian, bisexual), but looking for ways to help them accept their biological body. When that proves impossible, then you consider more invasive therapies. I'm so glad trans is mostly an affluent white problem. One less thing foisted on people of color, whew!​

  34. Only a tiny fraction of cases ever reach the Supreme Court. Its makeup now is terrible, but it does not have to have a huge impact on our lives. Example: overturn Row v. Wade, and most of the states continue with very liberal elective abortion laws, prenatal testing, fertility clinics that destroy embryos, and all the rest. Providers will likely make more money, and poor women will be deprived or have to borrow money to get the care they need. Not so different from NOW. Or didn't you know? Maybe you hadn't noticed.

Only the individual states, or Congress at the federal level, can make abortion a crime, unless the Court were to give fertilized eggs 5th and 14th Amendment protection as "persons." And even that would not create criminal penalties; only the legislative branch can do any such thing. Anyway, we both know why fertilized eggs will not be granted personhood. Don't we?

  38.  @joeydrummer7929  Several individual STATES made gay marriage legal and equal. The Supreme Court then held that no state could continue to ban gay marriage. So no, the Supreme Court did not make gay marriage legal, and cannot make it illegal. It made DISCRIMINATION illegal, which is something each state legislature could have done on its own for its own state, and could continue to do, no matter how the Court rules.
