Suppose he appears on a panel with law enforcement, to talk about how to keep your kids safe? (Very relevant -- normal people often do not spot dangerous circumstances; they cannot put themselves in the minds of offenders. How do you think clergy or coaches got away with it?) Suppose he appears with a panel of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to talk about halfway houses and treatments? Would you censor it?

That is relevant to the totally of the facts and circumstances of the incident, and the proportionality of any subsequent punishment. It also means that Dore's account is more plausible than Ana's, in every respect, including -- importantly -- his claim that his apology was accepted.

Is this how we advance the cause of WOMEN? Or just certain women? Aaron should have sued. Then the diversion ends. On advice of counsel, everyone shuts up and goes back to reporting on real news.

What's true? Ana's smear of Aaron Mate, followed by this desperate attempt to deflect attention from what she did, by playing the sexual harassment card, over a crass joke for which she received a prompt written apology? That's the truth of the matter, regardless of Dore's politics or personal flaws. Now Ana needs to apologize.

This was not Fauci's only lie, and TJDS wasn't the only channel to expose it. Fauci repeatedly gave misleading information, or outright lied. Yes, the results were worse than they would have been with a competent president in charge. But we had insane clown/orange Caligula. So we needed public health officials to be pristine about information. They were not. Seems they also misled about the Wuhan lab. This is not trivial.

People know written apologies can come back to haunt them, and he wrote it anyway. And it only surfaces when ANA and CENK defame Aaron Mate and Jimmy defends Aaron. So not only can a woman boss dress inappropriately, body shame other women for entertainment (and to attract Howard Stern fans), but she can also defame real journalists -- and it will all be defended, on "progressive" grounds? She escapes all accountability. Well. She's a woman.

@elginmarble5009 Commentaries like this video scare ordinary people, because they make it appear as though one false move in the workplace could mean the end of their livelihoods -- even years after they thought it was settled. The proposed punishment -- censorship -- is not proportionate to the crime. Not even close. Nobody here is a paid troll. No one rational needs to be paid to see that.

The real issue has nothing to do with media infighting, and everything to do with Syria -- which TRUMP bombed, and faux pwogwessives support bombing. He said he would not stop associating with FAMILY members on account of their misguided vote for Trump because of the abortion issue. Harassment suits have a very short window, and you cannot bring a lawsuit on a contract in California more than four years post breach. Why do you think that is? Take a stab at it.

You can read people's accounts, from a variety of solid sources. You can synthesize. There isn't something I have to "argue" for here. I reported what they feel, and why. @davidaponte3600 I was speaking of a case where the offensive individual apologized in writing and promised to never repeat the conduct, and the apology was by all appearances accepted. That's why I mentioned a contract. When this has happened, what do you think about repose for the perpetrator? The b u ll sh-t we see here on this particular video is bad for victims and bad for women. Moreover, if your daughter is saying that purely verbal harassment should be treated the same as homicide, rape, and similar offenses, then I do not agree. But as far as anyone having the right to speak of their own experience and feelings, at any time, that's obvious. Ana can try to use this incident to silence people, and the women on MR are free to join in. THEY are arguing for censorship. I'm not. I agree with everything you said at the end, and I think it follows perfectly well even if a person has no patience for Jimmy's style and politics. You just DO NOT use sexual harassment allegations in this way. I'm writing in part just in case our buddy, The Feminist, who swore at me and called me a liar, considers coming back, LOL.

If someone, especially a superior, keeps flashing you in the workplace, consider speaking to a lawyer. That's not funny. Guys show too much at work all the time; e.g., plumbers, etc. They need to get a better fit in their work pants and a belt, or overalls.

If you think real people have that degree of control over a workplace, you must be living in Palo Alto or Manhattan. Where do you get this notion? TYT engaged in the first, rather cynically, to attract some of Howard Stern's fans, then refused to deal with the second, when they were Dore's employer and could have reprimanded him or fired him. And they only bring it up after their smear of Aaron Mate blew up in their faces. This is very good for women.

"This person reminds me of that person." Well, more creative than "Russian blanket." How about this? No one is like Donald Trump, except Donald Trump. Could we agree? And Dore isn't a narcissist at all. He was greatly underprivileged in his life, especially as a child, used to be a bricklayer, and used to believe everyone was smarter than he is. Finding out that that was not true came as a shock to him. He is a jerk at times. His friends, like Aaron Mate, have compassion for that.

This video is fuel for misogyny. It hurts women. The two women on this show scare most people, and make working class women feel small. And people who never finished college (i.e., most people) see stuff like this and feel they will never know the rules. Congrats.

@davidaponte3600 There is nothing in your remarks that could hurt a victim. I just reread them. I'm positive. I was harassed so severely that someone who saw it -- a complete stranger -- approached me to offer to be a witness. The perp also posted pictures of himself online carrying an automatic weapon, and my job refused me added security at first, and investigated whether I said something that provoked him. (All the people who handled this were women, by the way, and I had 16 years there. Of course I left that job about five months later.) If what you wrote were hurtful, I think I would have spotted it. Talk about this with her again.

@CedDewan Sure. They can turn people off, from all walks of life, for lots of reasons. But this sort of thing scares ordinary people without professional backgrounds beyond belief. Visceral reaction. :/ Why don't they know that? I don't get it.

What's indefensible here? Ana's smear of Aaron Mate, followed by this desperate attempt to deflect attention from what she did, by playing the sexual harassment card, over a crass joke for which she did deserve, AND received, a prompt written apology? Now Ana needs to apologize. Actually, I wish Aaron would sue.
